LipsLip Filler: volume, contour and definition with hyaluronic acidThe lips are among the most demanding and most treated areas in aesthetic medicine. With cross-linked hyaluronic acid, a gel of chemically bonded hyaluronic acid molecules, volume can be built, the lip contour sharpened, asymmetries balanced and the vermillion border emphasised. Hyaluronic acid binds water in the tissue and creates a supple result that follows the natural movement of the lips and is fully broken down over time. The achievable result depends on the chosen viscosity and the injection technique.Which viscosity does what on the lips?Viscosity describes the firmness and shape stability of the gel. Soft to medium viscosities are used for the lips, depending on the desired result:Singfiller FINE V1 (low viscosity): stays soft and mobile, ideal for precise definition of the vermillion border, the Cupids bow and fine vertical lines. Expect definition and smoothing rather than pure volume.Singfiller DERM V2 (medium viscosity): offers more support and holds the built shape, for noticeable, balanced volume and a harmonious ratio of upper to lower lip.Singfiller DEEP V3 (firm viscosity): provides more projection and hold for a more pronounced, shape-stable build-up when clear volume is desired.Techniques for lip treatmentLinear threading: the gel is placed along the vermillion border in a retrograde pass, ideal for clear contour definition.Fanning: from one entry point the gel is distributed in a fan, giving even volume with fewer punctures.Bolus technique: targeted placement of small depots, for example to emphasise the tubercles of the upper lip.Fine needles allow precise work on the contour, blunt cannulas glide through the tissue and can reduce the risk of bruising. The contour is placed superficially along the vermillion border, the volume slightly deeper in the submucosal lip body. About one millilitre per session is common.Result and longevityA first result is visible immediately, the final result after a few days once swelling subsides. Because the lips are well perfused and constantly in motion, the gel is broken down faster here than in calmer areas. The result usually lasts about six to nine months. If needed, the material can be dissolved with the enzyme hyaluronidase. -
Frown lineFrown line filler: the line between the eyebrowsThe vertical line between the eyebrows arises from repeated facial expression and a loss of volume. With cross-linked hyaluronic acid the area can be filled and the line softened. The area lies close to vessels and is considered demanding, so fine products and careful technique are key.Which viscosity does what on the frown line?Depending on the depth of the line, fine to firm viscosities are used:Singfiller FINE V1 (low viscosity): to smooth superficial parts of the line.Singfiller DERM V2 (medium viscosity): for balanced filling of moderate lines.Singfiller DEEP V3 (firm viscosity): for deeper, static lines with more support.Techniques for the frown lineA slow, low-pressure injection and small amounts are used.Linear threading: the gel is placed flat under the line.Microbolus: targeted filling of deeper sections.Because of the proximity to vessels, a flat placement, low dosing and care with injection pressure are essential. For purely dynamic lines without volume deficit, hyaluronic acid is not always the right method.Result and longevityA first result is immediate, the final result after a few days. It usually lasts about six to twelve months depending on amount, product and muscle activity. If needed, correction with hyaluronidase is possible. -
Marionette pleatMarionette line filler: supporting the mouth areaMarionette lines run downward from the corners of the mouth and make the lower face look more serious. With cross-linked hyaluronic acid, targeted volume is built to smooth the lines and support the sagging mouth area. The treatment is often combined with a support point in front of the chin.Which viscosity does what on the marionette line? The marionette line needs support, so medium to firm viscosities are used:Singfiller DERM V2 (medium viscosity): for moderate lines and a soft transition.Singfiller DEEP V3 (firm viscosity): for deeper lines and to support the corners of the mouth.Techniques for the marionette lineDirect injection: the gel is placed in the deep dermis under the line.Support point at the corner of the mouth and prejowl: a depot lifts the sagging corners and reduces the pull on the line.A slow, retrograde injection and restrained dosing create an even, natural transition.Result and longevityA first result is immediate, the final result after a few days. It usually lasts about nine to twelve months. If needed, correction with hyaluronidase is possible. -
Nasolabial foldNasolabial fold filler: softening the foldThe nasolabial fold runs from the nostrils to the corners of the mouth and deepens as midface volume declines. With cross-linked hyaluronic acid the fold can be softened directly and the cause addressed, namely the volume loss in the cheek that intensifies the fold. The right viscosity and depth depend on the depth of the fold and the chosen approach.Which viscosity does what on the nasolabial fold? The fold covers a broad range, so the whole line is available:Singfiller FINE V1 (low viscosity): to smooth superficial residual lines.Singfiller DERM V2 (medium viscosity): for moderate folds.Singfiller DEEP V3 (firm viscosity): the standard for direct injection.Singfiller DEEPER V4 (highest viscosity): for deep, pronounced folds and structural build-up at the cheek base.Techniques for the nasolabial foldTwo strategies are used depending on findings, often combined:Direct injection: the gel is placed with linear threading in the deep dermis under the fold.Indirect build-up at the cheek (vector lifting): firm gel is placed higher in the midface to lift sagging tissue and reduce the pull on the fold.In the vessel-rich area around the nostrils a blunt cannula reduces the risk of vascular injury; particular care applies to the angular artery. About one millilitre per side is common.Result and longevityA first result is immediate, the final result after a few days. Firmer fillers in deeper layers usually last nine to twelve months here. If needed, correction with hyaluronidase is possible. -
CheekCheek filler: volume and contour for the midfaceWith age the cheek loses volume, the features look more tired and the midface sags. With cross-linked hyaluronic acid volume can be built, the cheekbone emphasised and the midface lifted. A targeted build-up at the cheek also acts on adjacent areas such as the nasolabial fold.Which viscosity does what on the cheek? The cheek needs structuring, firm viscosities:Singfiller DEEP V3 (firm viscosity): for a moderate build-up and a soft contour.Singfiller DEEPER V4 (highest viscosity): for clear volume, projection at the cheekbone and a noticeable lifting effect.Techniques for the cheekSupraperiosteal bolus: firm depots directly on the cheekbone for projection and hold.Subcutaneous fanning: distribution in the fat for a soft, broad build-up.Cannula for the surface: a blunt cannula distributes the gel evenly and vessel-sparingly.Restrained, layered dosing creates a natural result without overfilling.Result and longevityThe result is immediately visible. As firm fillers sit deep in a calm area, cheek volume often lasts twelve to eighteen months. If needed, correction with hyaluronidase is possible. -
NoseNose filler: non-surgical correction with hyaluronic acidSmall bumps, asymmetries or an undefined nasal tip can be visually balanced with cross-linked hyaluronic acid, without surgery. The nose is a very vessel-rich and demanding area, so fine, well-controllable gels and small amounts are used deliberately.Which viscosity does what on the nose? For precise, controlled corrections, fine to medium viscosities are suitable:Singfiller FINE V1 (low viscosity): for fine, precise corrections of superficial irregularities.Singfiller DERM V2 (medium viscosity): for a little more hold when adjusting the contour of the nasal dorsum and tip.Techniques for the noseSmall depots on the nasal dorsum: precise, central placement of small amounts to straighten the contour.Slow, low-pressure injection: reduces the risk in this vessel-rich area.Particular care applies to the vessels at the dorsum and root of the nose. A central, deep placement, small amounts and a slow injection are essential for a safe, controlled result.Result and longevityThe result is immediately visible and can be adjusted precisely. It usually lasts about six to twelve months. If needed, correction with hyaluronidase is possible. -
JawlineJawline filler: defining the jawline with hyaluronic acidThe jawline shapes the lower third of the face and the transition to the neck. With age or a naturally soft contour this area loses definition. With cross-linked hyaluronic acid, a structuring gel, the jawline can be emphasised, the jaw angle defined and a harmonious transition to the neck created. The result depends on the chosen viscosity and the depth of placement.Which viscosity does what on the jawline? The jawline needs structure and projection, so medium to firm viscosities are used:Singfiller DERM V2 (medium viscosity): for fine corrections and a subtle, soft contour.Singfiller DEEP V3 (firm viscosity): for a moderate, natural contour along the jawbone.Singfiller DEEPER V4 (highest viscosity): strongest support and projection for a clear build-up of the jaw angle.Techniques for the jawlineThe jawline is built in depth, usually on the bone (supraperiosteal) or in the deep subcutaneous fat.Bolus at the jaw angle: firm depots on the bone for projection and definition.Linear threading along the mandibular border: retrograde passes form a continuous, straight line.Cannula for the line, needle for fixed points: a blunt cannula treats long stretches evenly and vessel-sparingly.Symmetrical distribution and restrained dosing are important. Several millilitres per side are used depending on the baseline.Result and longevityThe result is immediately visible and looks more defined once swelling subsides. As firm fillers sit deep in a calm area, the contour usually lasts twelve months or more. If needed, the material can be dissolved with hyaluronidase.
